ITIL® & Management:

ITIL®, the Information Technology Infrastructure Library®, is part of a suite of best-practice publications for IT service management (ITSM). ITIL® provides guidance to service providers on the provision of quality IT services, and on the processes, functions and other capabilities needed to support them. ITIL® is used by many hundreds of organizations around the world and offers best-practice guidance to all types of organization that provide services. ITIL® is the most widely recognized framework for ITSM in the world. In the 20 years since it was created, ITIL® has evolved and changed its breadth and depth as technologies and business practices have developed. ISO/IEC 20000 provides a formal and universal standard for organizations seeking to have their service management capabilities audited and certified.

ITIL® Qualification Scheme:

The ITIL qualification scheme is a modular approach comprised of a series of qualifications focused on different aspects of ITIL best practice to various degrees of depth and detail. There are four qualification levels within the scheme: Foundation, Intermediate, Expert , Master.

The ITIL® Credit System supports the ITIL® qualification scheme by recognizing your investment in ITIL® qualifications. Within the ITIL® credit system, each ITIL® and ITIL-related qualifications has been assigned a specific credit value, based upon their level of ITIL® content. Upon successful completion of any ITIL® examination recognized under the scheme, a candidate will be awarded both the certification and the credits attached. The credits earned through this system can then be used towards the ITIL® Expert level of certification, for which candidates must have earned a required number of credits (22) from qualifications which cover the full spectrum of ITIL® best practice.

ITIL® Foundation Level Certification:

The Foundation level is the entry level qualification which offers you a general awareness of the key elements, concepts and terminology used in the ITIL service lifecycle, including the links between lifecycle stages, the processes used and their contribution to service management practices.
After passing the ITIL Foundation training and examination, you can expect to gain a general overview and basic understanding of ITIL.



ITIL Foundation Certification shows that you can contribute to improving the maturity of an IT organization. Training includes comprehensive coverage of Foundation certification exam topics, pre-course study, and overview maps of key concepts that will assist you in passing your ITIL Foundation exam.

Course Activities:

During the course you will have the opportunity to:

  • Familiarize with ITIL processes and functions of the service lifecycle stages
  • Recognize key principles of the service stages
  • Daily review sessions and practice on official exam papers
